    We aim to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible.

    Once your order is successfully submitted, our warehouse processes your order the following business day. It is then picked, packed, and dispatched. Once it is on its way to you, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking information.

    You should receive your order within 1-5 business days. Packages are not shipped or delivered on weekends and local public holidays.

    This is not the usual COMIS experience, but accidents can sometimes happen during shipping. Please contact us within 1 week of receiving your order, and we will find the best solution for you.     How does self tanning work?

    Sunless tanning products, also called self tanners, can give your skin a sunkissed look without exposing it to harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Spray tanning involves applying an active ingredient, DHA or dihydroxyacetone, to your skin using our nano mist device and is approved by the FDA and EMA for sunless tanning.

    DHA is a simple carbohydrate which is often derived from plant sources such as sugar cane, also known as fructose. It causes a non-toxic chemical reaction with the amino acid groups, which are part of the keratin protein present in the outer most layers of the skin.

    How do I prepare my skin for the best possible result?

    Always start off by cleansing your face and removing any makeup or excess product residue prior to application. For an even more optimal tan you could also use a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin. Just make sure to do this a few hours before application, not right before.

    How do I apply the self tan?

    Simply insert a True Tan capsule into the device and close the lid, press down the spray button to mist and keep a distance of approx 30 cm from your face. Spray your face and neck for 10-50 seconds, the longer you spray the stronger the result.

    How long will the self tan last?

    Can I use True Tan when I'm pregnant?

    Yes. All our self tanning products contain a vegetable derived active tanning agent (DHA) and zero parabens so they are safe during pregnancy and breatfeeding (lactating mothers may choose to avoid the breast area during the breast feeding stage). For anyone who is pregnant and suffering with a pre-existing condition or existing health concern, we would advise to consult their doctors prior to starting a tanning regime.

    Is it OK to wear sunscreen over my self tan?

    Yes, always wear an SPF if you are going to be in the sun. Self tan doesn’t protect your skin from sun damage or burning.

    How long do I need to wait for the mist to dry?

    Only wait a few seconds until your skin is completely dry. Our formula is clear (without trace colour) and dries fast thanks to the ultra fine nano mist, so no need to worry about staining.

    What are the advantages with the COMIS nano mist?

    Our device is a so-called nano mist spray device which creates a mist instead of a normal atomised spray often found in regular spray products. This enables the solution to be applied more evenly, absorbed more efficiently and reduces the amount of solution needed to spray onto the skin.

    No. Our device is designed to handle all kinds of liquids, and as such can be cleaned with water and gentle soap. However the USB-C charging port should not come into contact with any liquids and/or other materials.

    How and how often do I clean my device?

    When using the device in between two different capsules, please fill the empty capsule holder with a drop or two of water and spray until empty. This will ensure that no more liquid of the previous capsule is left in the nozzle.

    Repeat above process on a semi-weekly basis, even when only using one type of our liquid. This will ensure a continuous perfect result.

    Cleaning the outside of the deviceIf you wish to clean your device outside, use a wet, warm cloth.If the stains are more resistant, use a small amount of gentle hand soap.

    Never put any kind of liquid inside the USB-C charging port or any other parts of the COMIS' device.

    What are your capsules made of?

    Polypropylene (PP)

    Our capsules are made of 100% recycled PP (High Density Polyethylene). PP is a strong, non-toxic plastic that’s commonly used in products like shampoo bottles, cosmetic packaging, cereal box liners, etc. PP resists moisture, mildew, fungus, bacteria, mold and rotting all of which is highly important to guarantee that our products remain fresh.

    PP plastic is extremely safe, which is why it’s often used as a container for food for human consumption and beauty products that are applied topically. The PP plastic we use at COMIS is 100% recycled from post-consumer and post-industrial PP plastic.

    How are the different parts of the capsule being separated?

    Plastic that is collected from your homes, businesses, and local recycling centres, is sent to a Material Recovery Facilities, which separates plastic and non-plastic, and a Plastic Recovery Facility, which sorts plastic by type. The plastic then goes to a reprocesses where it is washed, shredded and sorted further. The plastic is then melted and extruded a into new recycled plastic pellets. These pellets are sold on for use in new products.

    How long is the warranty valid and what does it cover?

    At COMIS we strongly believe in our product quality and in our quality assurance processes. Every unit is subjected to rigorous inspection and test procedures to ensure it meets our exacting specifications. Defective products are extremely rare. We do, however, examine returned products to help us identify product and/or process improvements.
    COMIS hereby warrants to the original purchaser of our products that the product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship and shall be merchantable and fit for its intended purpose under normal personal consumer use and service for a period of (1) one year after the date of original purchase.

    What is not covered by your warranty?

    COMIS' warranty shall not apply:
    1. If the product has been modified, changed or altered
    2. If the failure to perform is caused by the consumer
    3. the product used in a commercial (non consumer) application
    4. service has been performed on the product by any part other than a service provide expressly authorized by COMIS
    5. The product is damaged, worn or otherwise rendered inoperable through the action of the consumer.

    If within one (1) year after the date of the original purchase, consumer notifies COMIS, in writing, that the product purchased by consumer has not performed in accordance with this warranty, and consumer returns the non-performing product to COMIS, postage prepaid, COMIS shall, at no additional charge to consumer, and as consumer’s sole and exclusive remedy, replace the non-performing product or refund the purchase price for the non-performing product. COMIS reserves the right to use reconditioned/refurbished parts to repair or replace a product.

    How do I return my order?

    If you were to be unsatisfied with your purchase at our website, you are entitled to withdraw your purchase or exchange your product by sending a notice to our customer care team within 14 day of you receiving your order.

    In the case of a product being broken during transportation, please send a photo for proof to our customer care team. Returned product(s) should be in unused condition accompanied by the original invoice no later than 14 days after sending your notice.

    Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact and in a resellable condition. We won't accept returns where labels have been removed or products have been opened. Refunds for returned goods will be made within 14 days of the return of the product by the same payment method used at the original purchase for the amount paid to COMIS.
